There had been 50,802 air crafts that had come to BIA last year

The civil aviation ministry says that during last year there were 50,802  air crafts operated via Bandaranaike International Airport.

There was a 5% percent increase than in year 2012 and which includes 48,646 which recorded and there were 2,156 aircrafts which was not recorded.

According to the 2013 annual report of civil aviation ministry, the number of passengers who came to the airport during the year were 7,311,869.
