Mihin Lanka has now increased the number of flights operating via Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA).
The three destinations that Mihin Lanka operates flights to in the Indian subcontinent via MRIA include Madurai, Gaya and Varanasi. The airline also operates seasonal flights to Medan in Indonesia via MRIA.
As Sri Lanka’s only low-cost airline, Mihin Lanka strives to promote MRIA, an international aviation hub created by His Excellency President Mahinda Rajapaksa to spearhead the development of the country. The state-of-the-art international airport is strategically located to connect to over 60 percent of the world within eight hours and boasts a vast 12,000 square-meter international terminal building as well as a duty free section spanning one million square feet.
