British Airways announced yesterday that it will terminate its operations towards Sri Lanka from March 28 next year.
The decision to suspend the flights between SL and London has been made assessing that the Colombo route is not making a profitable contribution to their business and are unable to sustain it.
British Airways is in the process of contacting all affected customers, who will be offered a full refund. British Airways would like to apologise to its valued customers affected by these changes and would like to thank the airport authorities, local government, tourist organizations and people of Sri Lanka for their support rendered.
