The Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Sri Lanka is rated 4th place among the best airports in central Asia. The rating has been done by the SKYTRAX and is included in the web site www.worldairportawards.com
Indira Gandhi Airport New Delhi, Rajiv Gandhi Airport Hyderabad and Bengaluru Int’l Airports are rated on the top three places respectively.
The awards were based on 12.85 million passenger comments across 110 nationalities who evaluated the airports across 39 categories including check-in, arrivals, transfers, duty free shopping complexes, security, immigration and departure.
